Will I need to attend classes to complete a course with DaC Childcare?
Many of our students undertake their study as a distance-learning option, meaning they do not need to find time to attend college.
Whether you are still at school, starting your first job, or a qualified professional moving into management or making a career change, at DaC Childcare Training you will find a qualification that fulfils your aspirations, develops your skills and will take you where you want to go.
What courses do you offer?
DaC Childcare Training provides courses in Childcare, Playwork and Health and Social Care.
These are accredited by CACHE or BTEC - both these Awarding Organisations are well-respected in the field of education.
You will also find information about other opportunities to study relevant courses with DaC Childcare; examples of these are Health and Safety (both from IOSH, the foremost organisation in this sector), and a range of courses which have been developed by DaC, and have been recognised as appropriate to attract CPD accreditation.
CACHE Early Years Educators
The new CACHE Early Years Educator courses are now available from DaC!!
These are the only qualifications to offer 'licence-to-practise' at Level 3 in England.
You will also find a wide range of courses for your Continuing Professional Development.
Additionally, complementary qualifications that will allow you to better perform in, or be responsible for, a thriving business within the Care sector are available form DaC Childcare Training.
Examples of these include Childminding courses, Safeguarding and Customer Care; essential for the day-to-day running of your business.

Leading you to success
DaC Childcare Training wants to see you succeed and to help you develop; some of the qualifications available are provided as a 'step-by-step' approach - for example, the units completed for an Award often then count towards a Certificate, and onto a Diploma.
This means that you can 'bank' the units as you work your way towards the biggest qualification - you will not need to repeat the same thing.
DaC Childcare recognises that situations change, and occasionally a learner will be unable to complete the entire course on which they are registered; in this scenario DaC Childcare will claim for the units you have achieved. You will then own these credits, so you may top-up at a later stage, if you wish to do so.
DaC Childcare Training is committed to working with you towards ensuring you meet your legislative requirements in respect of Health and Safety and Child Protection.
DaC Childcare Training is subject to regular auditing by all awarding organisations; this is to ensure that every learner receives the qualification and grade to which they are entitled.
