Food Safety Training
These courses are available at Level 1 and Level 2; you will select the programme which is best suited to your role within the organisation.
Level 1 Food Safety (Manufacturing, Catering & Retail) meets the needs of new employees, with little prior food safety knowledge; it is also appropriate for employees who handle low-risk or wrapped foods (category A).
Front of house employees, such as waiting on or check out staff, as well as back of house employees, such as kitchen porters or warehouse staff, will benefit from undertaking this course.
Level 2 Food Safety (Manufacturing, Catering & Retail) awards are suited for anyone working in a catering, manufacturing or retail setting where food is prepared, cooked and handled.
Typical environments may include:
Pubs, hotels, restaurants;
Supermarkets and retail environments;
Food and drink manufacturers;
